  Initially, I had a really good first visit. I inquired about teeth whitening, because it's something I've always wanted to do. I decided to go ahead with it that day. So, they had molds made of my teeth and custom trays for the whitening gel. Came back to pick them up a few days later and left with the kit. I started it that night, it was supposed to be 30 minutes a night. The INSTRUCTIONS that come with the kit, tell you to use 1/2 - 1/3 syringe per tray. Which is what I did, a drop per tooth. As soon as I put the bottom tray in, it INSTANTLY started burning my gums, so I quickly took the tray out. The pain was unreal. I started to panic and ran to rinse my mouth out with hot water because the gel was almost plastered on my gums and between my teeth. After many attempts, it finally started to come off my gums. I was left with bleeding, swollen gums and my teeth hurt. I immediately emailed the office, so I could talk to someone the next morning and hopefully get my money back because clearly this kit wasn't going to be useful to me and i was clearly allergic or something. Fast forward to the next day - noon comes around, still no call or email back from them. I called, left a message, and finally got a call back. They apologized for the bad reaction, and told me they would talk to the Dr. Monday to see about a refund. I got an email the next day, saying to come in and return the kit and i'd get a check. So, I went in to return my kit and was greeted horribly but a lady at the front desk who clearly doesn't belong in customer service because she was an absolute witch. Before I was able to say anything, she greeted me by saying "I know who you are" very rudely. I've never seen or met this person in my life. I was taken aback by this, and proceeding to hand her the kit. She then snapped at me and said "the check is in the mail" and made some comment about how she's always wanted to say that. Well, she clearly lied about the check being in the mail, because I had to go back the next day and return the trays (because apparently they are part of the kit) and the check was conveniently waiting for me at the front desk. The woman who was at the desk, was very nice. I handed her the trays, said thank you, and grabbed the check. As I started to turn to walk out the door, she got up and the doctor came into the office, they both walked around the desk and basically cornered me and started to tell me how I used too much gel and I didn't follow instructions and that If i didn't want to pursue this any further that's OK. So, first of all, I tried telling both of them that I used 1/2 syringe per tray, exactly like the instructions said to. They both kept insisting that was too much and I was only supposed to use a small bead. I remember being told to put a drop in each tooth impression on the trays - which is what I did. Instead of listening to me, the CUSTOMER, they both continued to tell me I was wrong. I will NOT be returning to this office, which is a shame because I thought this was going to be a good place. Word of mouth goes along way.... I will make my experience known that's for sure.
